Lauren Sammis of Sammis Sales LLC is no stranger to competition.  A member of the 2007 US Pan American Dressage team, Lauren lead the team to a Gold medal with the highest score in the Prix St. Georges class.  Lauren also captured a Silver medal in the individual competition for the Intermediare I and Freestyle classes.

A USDF  Silver and Bronze medalist, she began her competitive career in three day Eventing at the age of 13.  At 17, Lauren chose to strictly focus on Dressage.  She has actively participated in professional Dressage since 1993.  Having qualified and competed at the Devon Horse Show the past nine (9) years on six (6) different horses clearly demonstrates Lauren’s unique adaptability to a variety of horses and her ability to train them each to perform remarkably.

Her recent and notable success with a 8-year old KWPN gelding named Sagacious HF [owed by Hyperion Farm, Inc.] has been truly impressive.  Beginning the competition season in January 2006, Lauren and Sagacious initially swept both the Third and Fourth levels in Wellington, Florida.  The 2006 year ended with a second place finish at the Horse Show at Devon with a 72% score.  Lauren and Sagacious received a national 5th place ranking in the USDF Horse of the Year Awards.  The KWPN of North America recognized this team as the No. 1 PSG pair in the country for 2006.  After a series of selection trials, the pair were chosen to represent the United States at the Pan American Games held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Lauren, as the founder of Sammis Sales LLC takes the same competitive spirit to her business.  She has been the leading East Coast broker of Dressage horses for several years.  Her outstanding reputation for pairing riders with quality horses has attracted both amateurs and professional alike.  Horses she has sold have become junior rider horses, regional champions, and gold medal young rider’s horses.

As an instructor, Lauren has the ability to articulate her knowledge and experience to her students.  Working with people from many different levels in both full training programs and clinics, Lauren takes a committed interest in her student’s riding aspirations.

Lauren spends her winters in Wellington, Florida and her summers in New Jersey.
